Simple banners enabled
Partners can now submit display banners for linking to their sites from Okanagan Food. Currently the research partners and sponsors have banners at the bottom of the page. Note that banners must be a standard size.
Comments Enabled
Users can now comment on all the articles and manage their comments from their profile. Other users, when viewing a member's profile, may also view all posts of that member. Also users can disable commenting for specific articles, categories of articles, and broad sections.Upgrades to the site
Okanagan Food is undergoing some upgrades to enhance the visual appearance and multimedia capabilities. In particular, the visual layout is being simplified to emphasize contributed content and harmonize aesthetic elements with practicality. Video capabilities are being tested and troubleshooted so that users can share and view this content in a dedicated section, without leaving the site. Note that video files will be linked from external servers like YouTube.
